We work with local community based women groups to teach peace and reconciliation in Southern Sudan to a people who are recovering from generations of war and its effects.
To ensure that our trainings are consistent and reach women in remote villages we record our trainings on cassette tapes and they are played on hand crank cassette tape players which do not require batteries. We send them out with women who carry the cassette tape players on their heads to their remote villages to share the teachings with others.
